Software Implementation Lead (Java)

Description:
6 mo. contract-to-hire

This person must be a stellar performer with a strong track record of excellence.

Requirements:

- Experience with Java and Oracle

- 3 to 5 years of development experience in a team-based web development environment

- Technology agnostic, with experience in a variety of opensource technologies

- Familiarity with open-source project support and decision tools

- Breadth of technology knowledge may include languages, frameworks, databases, and libraries such as: Java, Maven, Ant, Oracle, Linux, Apache, Jboss, Hudson, Artifactory, Drupal, Trac, and Subversion.

- Strong development experience in building enterprise-scale systems

- Deep knowledge of the development process in an agile environment

- Ability to lead a team toward continual processes improvement

General Responsibilities:

- Manage team of developers in an agile environment with a focus on quality of output and the development process

- Communicate with business analysts, software testers, clients, and project managers

- Implement or manage implementation of project support and decision tools

- Maintain build environment, meet delivery dates, and manage implementation of project support

- Active technical depth to participate in architecture decisions and development
