Java Developer (Intermediate – Senior)

Description:
6 month contract-to-hire.

Do you love writing web software applications using Java?

Are frameworks like Spring and Struts familiar to you?

We’re looking for an intermediate to senior level Java web developer with team experience able to work on a large, multi-year projects. This is a hands-on software development role with a team using the agile software methodology.

Primary Skills:

- At least 2-5 years of Java web development experience (preferably using POJO’s)
- Experience with Java frameworks and libraries (Spring, Struts, Hibernate)
- Experience with Agile development processes
- Experience in a continuous integration environment preferred
- Experience with database development tools (Oracle preferred)

Requirements:

- Excellent communication skills and a team-player
- Strong grasp of opensource frameworks and leading web technologies
- Basic understanding the of the development process in an agile environment
